The staff at Pigeon Cove Tavern is composed of culinary veterans with years of experience working in Rockport and the North Shore's culinary scene, as well as highly celebrated out-of-staters who relocated to Rockport to foster a creative and unique culinary experience at Pigeon Cove Tavern.
Ameer has been passionate about gastronomy since childhood. With over a decade of experience in the food service industry, Ameer has worked in Colorado and Massachusetts, and studied extensively in Switzerland upon graduation from Johnson & Wales. In 2015, Ameer reolocated to Gloucester, where he accepted Sous Chef position with the Serenitee Restaurant Group. Looking for new opportunities and challenges, Ameer joined the Emerson Inn, during it's re-launch to help open Pigeon Cove Tavern.
Meghan is a Massachusetts native with years of experience in both Food & Beverage management and serving guests of the Emerson Inn. Committed to sustainable, environmentally friendly cuisine, Meghan works diligently to deliver the freshest ingredients around and to maintain a well-curated wine list, popular but local craft brews, and creative cocktails.
Stefan has been working in the restaurant industry since 2008, from the kitchen to the front office and almost everything in between. A native and life-long resident of Massachusetts , he has lived on Cape Ann since 2005. For the last few years Stefan has focused on the bartending side of the service industry, getting much enjoyment from expanding his knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits. He joined the Emerson Inn in late 2016.
